Ham & Split Pea Soup
Gary probably wouldn't eat this, and I suspect a lot of other people I know wouldn't either. Guess what? I'm entitled to cook for myself every now and then. Mmm, lunches.

Gah. I'm really kicking myself for not putting the carrots in the front where the bowl of unidentifiable Granny Smith apples are.

OMG, I wish I could share it with you, because it made PLENTY!
The recipe says to take the meat off the bones after the soup cooks and add the meat back in, but I didn't. I just let the bones add their smokiness and then threw them away. And I pureed the soup, because I like it smooth.
I love split pea soup! Larry hates it.
Waaa, I want to have Kelly & Sheri over for lunch...
