Salmon with Baby Greens & Fennel



Fish with salad is my favorite dinner. I prefer a much more acidic vinaigrette, but overall I did enjoy this (because I made it much more acidic!). I love shaved fennel. And I love my fish monger, Mario.

Did you see Mark Bittman (sp?) column in the NYT today? He was talking about his book "Fish" and how he opted not to update it because he didn't want to get into all the political stuff about which fish to buy. He talked about how the markets had changed in the 5 years or some such since he wrote it. Interesting stuff.

Funny you should mention that, Leah. I use the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch List and when I was on the website the other day, I wast thinking that someone should write an [iphone] app for that.

And guess what... "there's an app for that."
